If you think back to the Super Bowl, one of the more creative and well received commercials was the one for the secret magic fridge. That wonderful creation that would magically appear in an apartment full of guys thanking the Beer Gods for their good fortune. The commercial had everyone across North America wishing they could have their own secret magic fridge.
But, the secret fridge has nothing on the taps from God. A woman in Oslo, Norway who has taps of nectar of the gods of amber gold in her apartment. Haldis Gunderson, a fifty year old housewife in Oslo, discovered the miracle while getting ready to clean up the dinner dishes.
Seems that her apartment and the pub on the main floor of her building, had their pipes connected improperly sending the beer up two flights and nothing but water out to the barrel's in the pub.
Alas, the beer was not particularly enticing, as the two floor journey rendered it a rather flat beverage, not at all worthy of a discriminating beer enthusiast.
The less than talented technician was called back to set the pipes in their proper direction and the flow of golden gold returned to its proper location. At least one hopes that's beer heading towards the barrel's of the pub, someone may want to check the schematics one more time just to be sure!
