The Minister for Public Safety, John Les, has been visiting the flood stricken communities of the North the last few days. Yesterday he was in Prince George to take in the situation there and today he was in Terrace to examine the damage that is being done by the Skeena river.
Opinion 250 in Prince George had a couple of items on his observations on the Skeena situation.

Skeena rages, Flood waters rise
While Les was doing his tour, the local MLA for the Skeena area Robin Austin was out looking around on his own as well. The website Terrace Daily online had a report on his observations.
