The Queen Charlotte Islands Observer is the first to the wire with the news that former Prince Rupert alderman, North Coast MLA and Premier of BC, Dan Miller has picked up a new job opportunity.
As of May 15th, Miller was appointed to the board of directors of BC Ferries. Bringing some of his vast knowledge of Northern issues to the boardroom of the province's coastal trasnporatation provider.

Dan Miller, former Northcoast MLA and one-time Premier of BC has just been appointed to the board of directors of BC Ferries.
His appointment was effective May 15, according to Ferries.
Ferries says Mr. Miller, who started in politics in the 1970s as a Prince Rupert alderman and served as the province's Minister of Forests, will bring extensive experience in transportation, tourism and labour to the Ferries board.
