TRANSLATING THE PROVINCIAL FEE INCREASE AT THE LOCAL LEVEL -- The Daily outlines the recent moves of the Provincial Government to increase fees to the provinces provincial parks, (first reviewed on the blog on March 20) focusing much of their item on the impact on some of the parks in the local area.
Bob the Pug's fame continues to capture the imagination of media, as the Daily News joins the likes of the Vancouver Sun, Victoria Times Colonist and the CBC which all provided details of Bob's encounter with a wolf on Alpine Drive, we featured all the Big City media dispatches on Bob's new found fame on the blog on Friday.
Nathan Cullen's economic report on the Skeena-Bulkley Valley riding was released last week, with the local NDP MP providing his findings on what are the main economic concerns of local residents. The Northern View had the first look at the report posted to their website last Thursday.
The sports section features a look at local resident Kale Burns travels as he works his way through Midget Hockey playing in the Central Interior.
