Deciding it's time to bring Osama Bin Laden in from the cold, Italy's 55 year old Porn star and MP (an interesting combination even by Italian standards) Cicciolina has "offered herself" up to the leader of Al Qaeda.
Appearing at an erotic arts festival in Romania, the Italian porn star said that Osama should learn from the mistakes of Saddam Hussein and forsake his ways for the path of amour . In the 1990's she made the same offer to the Iraqi despot only to have her calls not returned.
Not sure what her motivation might be in the offer, perhaps she's angling for the position of External Affairs minister in the soon to be new Italian cabinet. However for Saddam it apparently was an offer that he could refuse and one suspects that Osama might be taking a pass as well, holding out for better offers in the hereafter.
