A New Year, A New Chance!

2004 has ended on such a horrific global note that it seems hard to even motivate oneself to even contemplate Good Wishes. But part of human nature is to battle forth through the terrible things and try to make things better.

So we approach this post with that in mind. We won't forget the things that make us wonder just how much time we surely have left here due to our own selfishness or the ravages of Nature. But perhaps with a new year dawning we can attempt to turn a page to make life better for all, to improve ourselves, to offer help instead of hindrance, hope instead of despair.

Well enough of the flowery stuff, I'm sure you get the drift. There is much heavy lifting for all of us in the year ahead. Whether around the world, across our country, in your own neighbourhood or even in our own homes. May we be up to the task and not disappoint those that depend on us.

Thanks to those that have read, contributed or critiqued this site, somedays you wonder if anyone is even reading let alone finding anything worthwhile. If I keep getting hits on the site, I'll keep hitting keys on the keyboard..

May 2005 bring happiness, comfort, security and joy to all.
